Congenital disorder of glycosylation type 1A and 1 L.Genetic variant of nipple shape, such as:.Trauma which can be caused by conditions such as fat necrosis, scars, or a result of surgery. The most common causes of nipple inversion include: Both women and men can have inverted nipples. In some cases, the nipple will be temporarily protruded if stimulated. But I’d like to breast feed one day and if I’ve completely ruined that chance then I don’t even want to bother taking them out.An inverted nipple (occasionally invaginated nipple) is a condition where the nipple, instead of pointing outward, is retracted into the breast. So my question to piercers with knowledge on this, could this have done any sort of unseen damage to my nipples? like are my inverted nipples now ruined because they weren’t coaxed out and just pierced right through? have i also completely ruined any future chance at breast feeding? I love my nipple piercings despite knowing they were done wrong, because to me it’s better than just flat inverted nipples. My right one is the better looking one, but it’s pierced smack dab through the areola skin right under where my nipple would be. It’s kinda just pierced in the areola skin area. It has a little scab that itches and falls off every once in a blue moon but the piercing itself is normal, despite being super shallow and pierced lower than where the nipple would actually be. I know most piercers will say it’s my body rejecting the piercing but it’s always been like this. My left nipple was done very shallow, there’s always been a little hole in the skin where you can see the metal bar. I don’t feel comfortable posting a picture, but I‘ll describe them best I can. What I discovered was that unless you go to a specialist or the piercer is able to coax them out, they should not be pierced. I thought they were a little off but figured with the inverted nipples and all that it was normal.įast forward 6 years later and I’ve done research on how to fix inverted nipples and what not, and proper ways to pierce them. I thought everything was fine and was super happy with them. (Not trashing on the particular shop or anything) but we went to a basic Atomic piercings and tattoos at the mall and my piercer just went straight to it. My friends were getting theirs done at the time so I went with but I was VERY misinformed at the time. When I was 18 I did research and read that getting nipple piercings would help. I’ve always had them, they’re completely inverted and unable to be coaxed out or anything like that. So I’ve never been one to use Reddit but I need some serious help.
